I'm always open to publishing blog posts about cool websites or applications; even if it has nothing (or little) to do with music. I feel that buzzego is a resource that I had to report on. It's just too interesting to neglect.
From a marketing perspective, I love what they do to greet new visitors. A lightbox is served that "forces" a user to login or register. But it's not just a simple and boring welcome screen. Instead it invites the visitor to choose which Panda bear represents them. The Panda bear is then shown through many different personality types and characters. For example, there is a Panda Bear that is "alternative" which sports a mohawk and a "sports-oriented" one. I personally chose the "Tech Geek" Panda.
Once inside, the features of BuzzEgo are great. It's a fabulous way to curate exceptional content throughout the web. Important and meaningful posts are issued to users based on preference on a dashboard. As a user, you get to scan and sift through what you'd like to read.
As a lover
of great online content, I strongly advise you to go to the site and choose which Panda you are. You'll be glad that you have a new resource to visit everyday that will help you stay up to date with information that is relevant to you that's also easy to use and super targeted to your interests.
No longer will you have to subscribe to feeds or bookmark your favorite sites.
