#21: The 1975 – I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it

I wasn’t particularly fond of The 1975 at first. Don’t get me wrong, their sound was refreshing and they had some incredibly catchy songs on their debut album. But it just wasn’t completely my vibe.

But now that they’ve released “I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it,” it’s opened up a ton of opportunities for them in the future. They’ve honed in on their unique sound and expanded on a form of nostalgia that gives them an edge over other bands.

It’s a strong effort – worthy enough for a seat on the countdown this year.
