Best Songs With Your Windows Down

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kia Rio for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Kia and Spotify have partnered up to present the “Best Songs To Play With Your Windows Down” campaign.

The idea behind the campaign is to get people like you and me to submit their favorite songs and build the ultimate playlist. The end result will be the crowdsourced “Best Songs with your Windows Down” playlist that everyone can listen to – especially in your new Kia Rio car!

To submit, all you have to do is follow the link listed above and enter the song information you would like to submit.

I did this by submitting Coheed and Cambria’s “Welcome Home” as shown in the screenshot below.

I chose Coheed and Cambria’s “Welcome Home” not only because Coheed is one of my favorite bands, but because of the way the song hits hard on all fronts makes it the perfect track to blare while cruising by the beach.

I also love that the entire system is voice-activated through the Microsoft-powered UVO Infotainment System. It really makes your entertainment while on the go very easy to control.

If you have Spotify and enjoy music, I strongly encourage you to check out the playlist, stream it, and participate by submitting your own song.

From there, the option to test drive a Kia Rio would be ideal since it is loaded with a ton of musical features that will blow your mind – even more so than Coheed and Cambria’s “Welcome Home.”

Starting a Podcast

A few years ago, I had the idea to launch a music podcast that would be connected to the content being delivered through this blog and all of the artists that were featured. The big idea was to also leverage our network over at Songclash, as well as our reputation at Endagon and just see what happens. Unfortunately, it never came to fruition for many reasons. The truth is, it’s tough to set everything up exactly how you’d want it. That includes getting more talent to surround you, coming up with fresh audio content, and most importantly, finding the best equipment.

When looking for pro audio broadcast equipment, there are so many options out there, but the truth is that they are not all great. If you purchase equipment that isn’t up to par, you’re left with a podcast that doesn’t sound very good. Who would want to listen to that? Not very many people.

The trick is to make it sound like you have a million dollar studio behind you. This means that you need to do your research to ensure that ALL pieces of equipment hold their weight in quality and then some. Products like belden cables, microphones, and condensers are all important elements to consider throughout this research.

Either way, 3D HD Gear is a great solution for you to consider. Scour their website and see what you can find at affordable prices. Before long, you’ll have one of the best audio broadcast setups in the neighborhood!

Walgreens is Awesome!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

For those of you that don’t know yet, Walgreens unveiled a new Prescription concept that is drastically disrupting the industry. It’s called the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club and it offers customers a special discount on an annual membership.

For only $35 for the entire year, a family membership covers your complete immediate family (including pets) and gives you discount prices on prescriptions.

For those of you that don’t have or don’t need to apply alongside members of your family, the individual plan, which offers the same discounts and perks as it does in the family plan.

Some of the other great benefits being offered are:

  • Savings on over 8,000 brand name medications.
  • Savings on generic medications.
  • Discounts on flu shots.
  • Discounts on pet prescriptions.
  • Discounts on nebulizers.
  • Discounts on diabetic supplies.
  • Bonuses when you purchase Walgreens’ branded products.

On top of offering such an amazing money-saving opportunity to American families around the country, they have also upped their social media game in order to stay engaged with their customers in real-time. That’s why you can now follow Walgreens on Twitter and like Walgreens on Facebook now.

If you end up signing up for the Prescription Savings Club, please let us know in the comments below.

I Don't Do Drugs, But…

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Fortunately, I am not a current Express Scripts customer, but if I was, I would be very upset right now by what is going on between them and Walgreens. If I all of the sudden couldn’t continue enjoying the convenient benefits of getting my prescriptions from Walgreens, I would be furious.

That is why when I heard about the issue surrounding Walgreens and Express Script, I deemed it necessary to write about it so that everyone knows what my favorite local pharmacy that offers 24 hour service and convenient locations throughout the nation is doing to combat negativity and fight for their customers’ best interest.

One of the many things that Walgreens is doing to improve the current network provider situation is the launch of the new Walgreens Prescription Savings Club. This is a type of membership, that for $10 a year, an entire family gets discounts on prescriptions and any other pharmaceutical service that Walgreens has to offer, including flu shots and supplies. Individuals can sign up to this program for only $5 a year.

So if you are an Express Scripts customer that has unfortunately lost the perk of using Walgreens as your prescription solution, you should strongly consider signing up to this program. More information can be found on the official Walgreens website,. You can also gather information by following Walgreens on Twitter and/or liking Walgreens on Facebook.

Singing Bowls

From the title of this post alone, you might think that we are featuring a new up and coming band from the UK. However, that’s not the case at all.

Do you know what a Singing Bowl is? Most likely, the answer is no.

By the looks of it, you might guess that they might be a piece of musical tupperware or something of the sort.

The truth is, at least you’d be close.

Silver Sky Imports offers a plethora of Tibetan singing bowls, as well as other similar and unique products on their website.

In the case that you were in the market for gongs, crystal singing bowls, and other unique musical instruments from other countries, we’ve just saved you from doing an extensive amount of research.

If and when you purchase a strange instrument, leave a comment linking to your picture with it. I’d love to see you rocking out with it.
