  1. I you are doing great. Forebear’s debut EP is produced by the famed Scott Gordon and blends cinematic indie rock with baroque pop. Below find a link to their new EP and bio, thanks for your consideration,

Forbear flawlessly weaves together cinematic indie rock with a truly unique voice and spectacular harmonies taking listeners on a surreal experience. Capturing the struggle between our interpersonal crises and living in the age of constant awareness of global tensions of wars glooming overheard, Forebear puts into words the feelings that are always so difficult to express ourselves.

Composed of some of LA’s most prolific musicians, the band met in early 2014 in the Los Angeles professional music scene. Scott Goldbaum (formerly of Wise Cub) leads the band with beautiful and poignant vocals and melodic guitar, while classically trained Molly Rogers viola adds a layer that is truly captivating. Mike Mussleman (drums) and Nick Chadian (bass) round out the four piece with one of the most impressive, and methodical rhythm sections in indie rock today. Individually band members have worked with artists/bands including Feist, Randy Jackson, Keith Urban, Bastille, among others.

After only a few months, Forebear quickly caught the attention of famed producer/engineer Scott Gordon (Alanis Morissette, Ringo Star). Their debut Scott Gordon produced EP entitled Forebear, begins with the ambitious “North Korea and the Five Stages of Grief” which was written by Goldbaum in his car, conveying larger than life interpersonal drama which is both grandiose and beautiful. “Cusp” highlights Goldbaum’s stream of conscious lyrics, Molly’s brooding voila solos and a driving rock rhythm section rarely found today. “Who Writes Off Who” is an intense heightened journey of hard driving guitar, loud bass and dark viola. “Pigeons Eat Glass” rounds out the EP with heavy contrast, whispering vocals and pretty classical guitar contrast the dark and sentimental lyrics.

“The record talks a lot about bonds between people. If the record is encouraging people to aspire to anything I would say it’s all about finding peace over the course of suffering, being proud of every step taken, reconciling with the fact you don’t have control over everything, calling those things about by name and , marinating in them, learning from them, and valuing the catharsis that comes from sharing those experiences for what they were, both dreadful and wonderful.” Scott Goldbaum.

  2. I hope you are doing great! I wanted to send you new music from acclaimed indie electro pop artist Autumn in June. His new EP has recently received acclaim in NME and charted on Hype Machine. Thanks for your consideration! free download included in link

Since the release of his debut EP at the end of 2014 indie-pop artist Autumn In June has made a significant impact upon the L.A music scene while simultaneously developing an extensive online fan base. His music features an eclectic mix of electronic melodies, hip-hop beats, and soulful lyrics, while maintaining an air of fun as he establishes a foundation of indie-pop throughout his records. This can be heard in his latest singles Weeks and Hey Arnold as they draw the listener in with rich melodies and catchy lyrics while also highlighting the individual style of this artist, something that he attributes to his unique musical background.

Growing up on the streets of South Central, Los Angeles, Autumn In June’s childhood was saturated by violence, gang culture and a community revere for rap music. Despite this, Autumn In June took a leap of faith and began to experiment with an array of music to which his peers were aggressively opposed. It was at this point that his local community gave him the name of Autumn In June as they considered him to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Despite the often-negative criticism he received Autumn In June embraced this title and decided to continue to make the kind of music that he truly loved and to inspire other people to be proud of who they are. Consequently, Autumn In June is positioned as one of the few, if not the first, indie-pop artist to emerge from South Central, Los Angeles.

The release of Autumn In June’s debut EP resulted in significant media attention and features in highly acclaimed publications such as NME. Building upon this success, Autumn In June began to perform a number of live shows in the L.A region, drawing an increasing crowd with each performance. As this momentum grows he is developing an ever more refined image and identity that is attracting people into what his fans call “Autumn’s Family”. This name reflects the artist’s promotion of inclusivity and the empowerment of people to be whoever they wish to be.

  3. Hey there, hope you’re good..
I wanted to send you a note about a rather special new talent we’re working with, be great if you’d be interested to check it out. He’s this 20 year old kid called Jack Watts – with an incredible voice which has more than a touch of Jeff Buckley to it…

Jack is looked after by the same management team behind Damien Rice, & this tune is the title track from his debut EP Red Shortbread, due out next month. The track (which had its first Radio spin on XFM last night) is accompanied by an unsettling video which features the bloodied & tear-stained faces of Jack and others healing in reverse. Fairly uncompromising stuff for sure, but it inhabits that same raw, redemptive territory as the track itself.

Jack’s just uploaded this live take of ‘Red Shortbread’, which you can check out here:

    Press Shot:

There’s a touch more below- it’s obviously early days (& not that long since Jack stopped clocking on for shifts either flipping burgers in a fast food van or working Brighton Gala Bingo), but any thoughts on Jack or possible tips for this new tune at the Music Master would be really much appreciated.

    Cheers so much

  4. I wanted to reach out to you and send you Cobi Mike’s new two singles from his debut self-titled EP that was just released just a few days ago. Cobi Mike was the lead singer/songwriter in the popular band Gentleman Hall who is singed to Island Records. Below find his bio and a soundcloud link of the single. His latest single charted on Hype Machine!

    Thanks for your consideration,

Cobi Mike’s recent decision to leave Gentlemen Hall (Island Records) to release his first solo project arose from his desire to rediscover his voice and share his personal message. In 2008, the singer-songwriter helped form the unique Boston musical collective. Gentlemen Hall quickly catapulted to success, being awarded a MTV Video Music Award in 2009 and performing on the Billboard Music Awards in 2011. In 2013, they received placements in Target and Samsung commercials as well as the CW’s 90210 and ABC’s Pretty Little Liars.

Coming off their 2014 tour, playing alongside acclaimed musicians Young The Giant, Cee Lo Green, All American Rejects, One Republic, and Beyonce, Cobi Mike decided to leave Gentlemen Hall to release his first EP.

With the help of Grammy Award-winning engineer Tom Weir (Blondie, Willie Nelson) and an all-star cast of musicians including keyboardist Mia Fitz (Hozier) and drummer Matt Laug (Alanis Morisette, Christina Aguilera), Cobi Mike recorded his self-produced EP.

The four song EP, features a collection of heartfelt and authentic songs with an emotional rawness. Combining acoustic and electronic elements, the opening track “Walking Through The Fire” embodies a powerful metaphor of transformation while holding on to hope even in life’s darkest moments. “We Are Who We Are” showcases Cobi Mike’s knack for composing memorable hooks while “I Don’t Wanna Lose” highlights the singer songwriter’s stunning vocals in an intimate yet frank letter to a lover almost gone. Perhaps one of the most heartfelt and important tracks on the EP is “First Snow,” which describes a yearning to escape and the profound experience of a wondering heart looking for change.
